Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was born in Minsk Belarus, which is the capital. Belarus. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her father, a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born on May 5, 1998 in Minsk Belarus. In her career she has won twelve WTA singles titles, including a Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. In her role as a specialist in doubles, she also has won both the US Open of 2019 as and in the Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. Also, she achieved her Sunshine Double in 2019, winning the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open with Elise Mertens. The feat was achieved by four couples playing in singles for women. In the month of January, 2023, she surpassed her top ranking in singles. On 23rd August 2021, she climbed to number two in world rankings. That same year she took home the title in Melbourne before she went to the top spot in the world when it comes to doubles. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) was her coach for a portion of 2019 in 2018 and through the close of the season. Dieter Kindlmann was the coach for her from the month of August through September 2020. Her training has been provided by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are her idols.
